For developers, it's an invaluable opportunity to gain early feedback from players and grow their audience ahead of their launch on Steam.

Empowering Developers

I create asset kits containing various images, logos, and templates which is provided to participating devs. Crafted for social media use, developers can utilize these resources to communicate their participation in Next Fest with their audience. This initiative allows developers to align their messaging with different social media platforms, amplifying their reach and impact.

These tools facilitate direct communication and interaction, enabling gamers to engage with creators, share feedback, and gain insights into the game development process.

Promotional Strategy

Streaming has become a popular way for players to discover and explore new games. I work directly with GDQ to produce assets for their livestream and coverage of the event. Next Fest appears across many different channels outside of Steam such as Twitch and Youtube.

The event's curation team selects 20-30 games to feature in an official livestream and video trailers. These promotional materials are distributed across various media channels - from press releases to social media platforms and prominently featured on the Next Fest event page. The promotion aims to maximize visibility and engagement for showcased games and devs.

Consistent branding helps create a distinct and easily recognizable identity for users when they encounter the event outside the context of Steam. My goal is to maintain a uniform and professional appearance across various platforms to help build credibility for the event.
