Steam Production Design

Steam promotes 12+ games and publishers each week offering discounts, free-to-play events, and limited-time deals. In my role as production designer, I prepare and create graphic assets and marketing materials for distribution and implementation across the Steam store.

Marketing Messages are designed to promote games, events, sales, or new releases to the Steam users.

Localization

Customers on Steam speak different languages and their preferences
vary independently of their geographic location. I support developers in expanding their reach on Steam by localizing their marketing materials, graphic assets, and store pages.

Adapting text elements within graphics is a significant part of localization. I work closely with our localization experts to conduct quality checks to ensure the final localized graphics meet the intended standards, maintaining consistency and accuracy throughout the adaptation process.

Takeovers highlight games, events, and promotions front and center on the Steam platform.

File Preparation

I specialize in transforming artwork to fit a wide range of contexts and sizes without compromising visual impact or quality.

  • Dimension Adaptation: Resizing, cropping, and rearranging elements while preserving the original aesthetic.

  • Resolution Optimization: Optimized versions for web/mobile applications.

  • Responsive Design: Ensuring assets scale seamlessly across screens without loss of quality.
